Going without health insurance is not the way to save, there are other options to look into other then doing without. Maybe you could go with a more basic plan and save. You should look at your plan and decide is there something I can adjust and still benefit.

By choosing to go with individual health insurance versus a group policy you can control premium by controlling benefits. It is a great money saving option and is great because you no longer have to stay with a one plan fits all policy.

Are you one of those that may go to the doctor once a year if any? You may think why would I pay so much for insurance I am not going to use. So instead you could go with a basic plan that covers major medical only. They are very affordable and still protects you from major medical expenses.

What if you just changed careers and you will have a short lapse of 30 days before your new coverage begins. Some might argue that it is worth the risk to go uninsured, it is only 30 days, what could happen? Don’t fall for this trap. Get the temporary insurance for 30 days. It is low cost and will cover the major expenses.

You never know when an accident or illness may sneak up. It can happen to anybody. For this reason you should never go unisured! Even if you will only be without for a short time, you will need to purcahse a temporary health insurance plan. These plans are very cheap, so no reason not to buy them.

If you are looking for flexability, look no forthure than a PPO plan. There are many to choose from on line. You just find one that has the benefits you like and sign up , easy as pie! You can research carriers and networks online also making it very productive in finding the right policy for you.

We all struggle at some time or another. We all need other choices that can help us save money. But I am here to tell you dropping your health insurance should not be one of your choices. There are alternatives you just need to seek them out. Sometimes even your current carrier has solutions if you give them a call.
