Credit crisis, bankrupt, pain and anguish.  Who is blame?  Personally, I like to take responsibility myself, for the money I borrow.  So if I default, I know I only have myself to blame.  Here is some more info on managing debt responsibly

Managing Debt in Tough Times

July 3rd, 2008 by Damian Papworth

There is no question about it, we are heading into a period of times which will be tougher than anything we’ve seen for the last 20 years or so.  For a whole generation of people, this will create pressures and challenges we never had to deal with before.  High petrol prices, higher interest rates, increasing rents and inflation.  These are things that have not effected us during 2 decades of abundance.

One such challenge many people face today which they never had to face before are debt management issues.  How do you pay off those credit cards, now now that you are paying an additional $50 a week for the necessities of life.  Often your circumstances were completely different when you took out the loan.  Where 12 months ago you could easily afford it, today could be an entirely different situation.

So this is the topic we are going to focus on for the next month or 2.  Debt management in difficult times.  We have added a section to the website, just for this purpose, you can find it here: Debt Management
